About Me
Thanks for visiting my website!
My name is Juan Rolon and I am a theoretical physicist and machine learning engineer who likes to build mathematical and computational models to solve problems in both academic and real-world industrial settings. When not doing anything of the above, I like to spend time with my family, go on long outdoor walks, cook mediterranean food, listen to podcasts, read about history or get current about the most recent developments in science and technology. Recently I have worked as a lecturer of Computer Science at the Centenary College of Louisiana and as a research affiliate in the Physics Department at UNC Chapel Hill. I earned my PhD in Physics at Ohio University, and my Masters degree at the University of Notre Dame. I hold a Bachelors degree in Applied Mathematics from the Autonomous University of Baja California located in Ensenada, Mexico. |
